Licher is hoping to receive creative and fresh ideas for an independent and confident design of labels for the x² product range. Since 2001 only minor alterations have been made to the labels so the current design is no longer contemporary. The labels are due for a complete overhaul.
Regarding the new design you should take the following points into consideration:

- The redesign should convey more appetite appeal and contribute towards a more emotional and less static image.
- Your redesign should convey the idea of the individual flavors more than the current labels do.
- The impact of the x² brand should also be heightened by a clearer layout of “x” and “²”.
- The Licher lettering should be retained on the label to show where the beer comes from, but the focus is clearly on the depiction of the x² brand.
- Your submission should include design ideas for all three flavors: Licher x2 Cola, Licher x2 Fresh Lemon and Licher x2 Energy.
